November 10th, 2011 will be a “see to be seen” night at Jesse Auditorium. The annual blues concert is a fund raiser for the Vincent P Gurucharri MD foundation that supports cancer survivors. These days a cause that has touched every family. The Randy Oxford Band with LA Smith is an international band.
With Manuel Morais guitar and vocals, Portugal, Jho Blenis on Guitar, Japan, Farko Dosumov on Bass, Uzbekistan, Jada Amy on vocals, Tacoma, WA, Richard Sobal “The Viking” on drums, Rhode Island, and with LA Smith on Congas and percussion from NYC.
And the wild man himself, on over 30 CD’s and 25 music awards including “Best Horn of the Year” , as well as “Entertainer of the Year” is Randy Oxford from Seattle, WA.
The dynamics, of this international band is a experience for all. The rhythm section defines, and fills , the guitars are some of the best of our time, the vocals stunning and that horn, a sound that leads the way.

Live Recording at Jesse Auditorium will feature new material not yet heard and will include LA Smith on percussion!
This group will be RECORDED LIVE at Jesse Auditorium for a new CD by United Entertainment.
KBIA will be hosting a VIDEO RECORDING of the show for the launch of their new web site within a few weeks of the performance.
They will be warmed up by The Megan Boyer Band, from Columbia, MO.

This is a must see show.

Recent news...The Randy Oxford band was a finalist at the International Blues challenge in Memphis,TN. this year out of 110 bands from 12 countries, resulting in Internationall touring offers. Currently on tour with their new CD "Festival" getting international air play.
